Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
…well, what about…?
Nope! I have nothing to do with the original Thanksgiving or the colonial times or any of that. I use Thanksgiving to remind me that I need to be thankful for what I have now.
In many circles, November is also a month of gratitude. (Although, we should be doing that all year long!) Gratitude, unlike thankfulness, implies action. Gratitude is thankfulness through works. (Although, in the dictionary, they’re the same things; I note differences, for myself.) I won’t get into it much here; I have to go start stuffing my face.
Let’s all think about those who don’t have Thanksgiving (all over the world), those who cannot be home for Thanksgiving (military, government, others), and just everyone. If we all took a day to be grateful for what we’ve got (focus on the positive), rather than remaining mired in the negative; we just might have a good day. Then, sustain…
Hope everyone has a great day!
